Social Media Intern – Lean On Me HR Solutions LLC

Location: Remote / Hybrid (NYC Preferred)
Type: Part-Time Internship (10–15 hrs/week)

Compensation: Stipend + School Credit (if applicable)

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a creative, forward-thinking Social Media Intern to help expand our brand presence, grow engagement, and connect with our audience across multiple platforms. This role is perfect for a communications, marketing, or design student — or a creative professional looking to build their portfolio in the HR and business consulting space.

Responsibilities:

Create engaging, on-brand content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok

Assist in planning monthly content calendars and campaigns

Edit videos, create graphics, and write captions with a consistent and compelling brand voice

Research and incorporate trending topics, hashtags, and formats into content strategy

Monitor social media channels and respond to comments and messages professionally and promptly

Track analytics and provide monthly performance reports to inform future content decisions

Collaborate with the CEO on special campaigns, community engagement initiatives, and brand partnerships

Requirements:

Strong writing and communication skills with a creative edge

Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design/video tools

Basic knowledge of social media algorithms and best practices

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines

Interest in HR, career development, entrepreneurship, or social impact work is a plus

Between the active shooter incident yesterday and today’s MTA system meltdown, it’s clear: NYC is crying out for relief, mentorship, and real leadership.

Just last week, I raised the idea of privatizing the MTA—and now the system's in chaos. Billions are pumped into that agency every year, yet service gets worse while public dollars pad the pensions of underperforming employees who have no intention of retiring.

Why? Because they’ve been programmed to survive—not serve.

This isn’t sustainability.
It’s stagnation.
And it’s bleeding the city dry.

I’ve been through a lot in life—heartbreaks, setbacks, failures that made me question everything. I used to think nothing was enough. That nothing I did would ever work. I was surviving, not thriving.

But here I am, in my 30s, standing in rooms I used to pray to enter. Being scouted for the first time in my life—by institutions, employers, potential clients, and business partners.
