Flat feet are no joke. Loss of propulsion, shock absorbtion, altered body mechanics, stress, stress , joint destruction and pain.
After a period of custom insoles, PT, strength and conditioning this golfer decided enough was enough. what you see here is dramatic, big screws, plates, joint fusions, bone repositioning, tendon repair and soft tissue release. What’s more dramatic will be the outcome and eventual comeback!

The infamous Haglunds deformity is no Joke. Chronic Achilles tightness leads to tendinitis then tendonosis then severe traction in the heel bone, extra bone formation, bone inflammation, more stress to the Achilles and severe disability with ambulating and movement.
In my left hand is a badly irritated Achilles after is was resected off the underlying heel bone. The heel bone was cleaned up of all bone spurs, extra bone formation and calcifications. The cleaned up tendon will meet the cleaned up heel bone using the latest in medical technology for what will be a smooth landing back in sportsville ( in due time:)
