About dawaCare
dawaCare is a not-for-profit organization 501(c)3 ensuring that every patient receives complete care out of any healthcare system they find themselves in. We focus primarily in Africa where access to healthcare is more challenging. We do this by developing simple, creative care processes and workflows that keep the patients informed about their health and engaged with their providers thereby achieving a better outcome and satisfaction.
Since 2017, we have engaged over 15,000 patients with significant improvements in all measured metrics. We have a dedicated team in Cameroon and The USA that is thrilled to have a creative, goal driven, hardworking and passionate individual join our efforts to tackle these large generational challenges and break cycles of poverty.
Responsibilities
- Take lead on the planning, redesign, development and publication of dawaCare
landing/marketing website
- Work and meet with the dawaCare team to determine tools, styles and features for the
website
- Will be a volunteer position to assist the CEO of dawaCare, and other team members to
improve web marketing and design
Skills
- Enjoys accomplishing goals efficiently in a timely manner while working in a remote team
- Ability to work as an individual or in a team of high achieving individuals
- Ability to design aesthetically pleasing and functional websites
Qualifications
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Able to show example of previous web design or web development project
