I started the journey of becoming a Kois trained dentist in 2019. My plans to return in 2020 were thwarted by the pandemic when my class was canceled. 5 nerve wracking trips to Seattle and week long stays, time away from work and loved ones. Asking a million questions and trying my best to implement, deprogram, mount models. Ultimately it’s us, the dentists, who act as detectives when our patients run into issues with their teeth. You have to ask the right questions. has been the most thorough and eye opening education I have ever received. I’m very grateful to have reached this point in my career.

I had a tiny visitor yesterday for his first ever fillings! I don’t typically work on children unless I know that the visit will be a successful one. I’ve known my patient since he was 2 yo so I had a hunch that it would go well and it did! Big relief for everyone involved. I have a huge amount of respect for the pediatric dentists out there, what you do daily is nothing short of a miracle.
