Dating App Burnout in NYC?

Here’s how to stay sane and find real connection…

1) Take a Break (without guilt) if swiping feels more like a chore than an opportunity, pause your apps.

2) Set Boundaries with Dating Apps. Schedule time for using apps rather than scrolling endlessly.

3) Be intentional about your matches instead of mindlessly and reflexively swiping, slow down.

4) Don’t be afraid to move off the app quickly.

5) Diversify how you meet people, apps aren’t the only way to date.

Yes, NYC dating can be drag but dating can be exciting too! Real connection is possible with authenticity, boundaries and self awareness.

Take breaks when needed, prioritize meaningful interactions over endless swiping and remind yourself that love isn’t about finding someone better it’s about finding someone who feels like home.

The right person for you is looking for the real you - not the polished dating app version and when you show up authentically - that’s when the magic happens!

Double tap if you agree!

Our hearts are with the families and loved ones of those who perished too soon in the most recent tragic aviation accidents in D.C. and Philly. With these accidents, more people are sharing about their fears of flying - which is understandable and quite common. Our Co-Founder Veronica Vaiti was invited on News12 Westchester this weekend to offer insight and words of encouragement on how to manage such flight anxiety.

See the clip here https://westchester.news12.com/expert-shares-advice-on-calming-flight-anxiety-following-deadly-plane-crashes

How do you calm your nerves when needing fly? please share so that others may benefit from your experience :)

Veronica Vaiti is the co-founder of Bhava Therapy Group. She encourages people not to feel alone if they have a fear of flying.

3 Questions for personal Growth and Fulfilment in 2025!

1) At this time next year, what would I like to reflect back upon and be able to acknowledge as the most fulfilling moments, events, experiences and what I can do differently to create more space for those type of experiences?

2) At this time next year, what would I like to feel most grateful for regarding the last 12 months?

3) what in my mindset, my core beliefs about myself and my day to day lifestyle would need to shift in order to reach questions 1 and 2 satisfactory?

Asking yourself these 3 questions rather than setting goals as you dream of self betterment, growth and achievement for the new year, I invite you to start thinking about the end of the year.

Think about the end of this new year from a qualitative perspective rather than a quantitative perspective, is not only a more humane way to approach yourself, but it can be more realistic and growth promoting.
