The holidays are over, but your nervous system might still be catching up.

January is a time to decompress, reflect, and gently reset.
There’s no rush to “bounce back.”

Happy New Year! ✨
Happy Haitian Independence Day! 🇭🇹

January isn’t about becoming someone new.
It’s about coming home to yourself. This month also honors Haitian Independence Day, a reminder that true beginnings are rooted in compassion, clarity, and care, not pressure or perfection. Haiti’s freedom was born from collective intention, dignity, and the belief that healing and liberation happen together.

At IPWC NYC, we hold that same truth.
You’re allowed to begin slowly.
You’re allowed to begin together.
L’Union Fait La Force — Unity Makes Strength.

As we gather and celebrate this holiday, let this be a gentle reminder 🤍✨

You can love your family and choose the boundaries that protect your mental health.

Both can be true at once.

Dr. Harrald Magny is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than fifteen years of experience providing comprehensive, culturally responsive mental health care. Based in New York City, he supports individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, work-related stress, personality disorders, major life transitions, discrimination, and persistent or severe mental illness.

This past year has been such a meaningful journey. It’s truly a joy doing the work we do at IPWC—not just witnessing those everyday transformations, big and small, but also helping people embrace who they are. We have been there through tough times and life’s challenges, and seeing people grow and cope is the biggest win of all. A big win is celebrating that journey and the fulfillment of helping others thrive.
