I’m wondering who is experiencing insomnia.

I went through it on and off for 3 years. I know how horrible it can make you feel, and how it can literally stop you from living your best life.

I was on a roller coaster. It wasn’t until I really went inside, and saw what was really bothering me. In my case a very unsatisfying job, and lifestyle that I got some relief.

We are not meant to live on automatic, and live in a way that is not meant for for us. We have to understand and nurture ourselves to live the life we are here to live and enjoy.

I became a Health Coach first and foremost to help myself. I was in a job that I did not llike and my emotions were frayed. I was not comfortable with myself, and was experiencing some digestive issues. The medical profession was not helping, and I wondered what nutrition could do for me. I looked towards the Institute for Integrative Nutrition for answers - the largest online nutritional school in the world. The school introduced me to an individualized approach to nutrition, and made a big difference in my health. The. biggest takeaway was the idea that a person’s wellbeing is based on the person’s whole life. Nutrition was presented as secondary to other aspects of life, such as relationships, career, finances, social life, physical activity, spirituality, etc. Through improved nutrition, exercise and meditation, I felt healthy and strong again.
I follow the Mediterranean Diet, which includes lots of fruit, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, sees, lean meats, chicken and fish. I am never hungry and I am healthier and happier than I’ve ever been. I want to share what I’ve learned with you, and would love to hear from you. Leave a comment below or DM.

I am proud to say that I am now a graduate of the Institute for Integral Nutrition. This program has given me the ability to help you gain your best health, through better nutrition and life style. These two factors go hand in hand!

I think the most important thing that I have learned at the Institute is that no two people are alike in their health needs, and that the coaching of each individual is separate and distinct. For example, someone may be a meat eater, or someone else may do better on a plant-based diet. There is no right or wrong, only by listening to a person, and hearing their story, can we try to find out what is best for him or her. I have access to over 100 diets, but I am not going to prescribe a diet, per se. I want to know what the person’s goals are, and how they are living their lives now. Only then can I be the “coach on the side,” and help the person be accountable for his or her actions toward their goals, motivating them all the way!

Having graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition has been one of my greatest experiences. It came when I wasn’t feeling my healthiest – with some aches and pains, and most importantly, I was looking for something more in my life. I was always interested in nutrition, and wanted to learn about what “Integrative” meant, so I thought I’d give it a try. What I found was a world of new information. Listening to the weekly lectures was delightful, and I looked forward to each one. I learned that every person must be treated as a whole. There is no separation between mind, body and soul. When one part is affected, the other two are as well. Best of all, I began to feel stronger and healthier myself. The program is set up to heal the healer, if necessary, and for that healer to then help as many people as possible. I realized that a Health and Wellness Coach is there to guide and motivate individuals toward his or her wellness goals, and keep them accountable to them along the way. I sincerely believe that everyone could benefit from a Health Coach – a non-judgmental listener who is there to guide and support you in reaching reach your uppermost wellness goals. I invite you to give my website a look. You might be interested in what you see! http://tiny.cc/marthawellness
