Acupuncture, specifically moxibustion (a type of heat therapy, using burning mugwort), is a traditional Chinese medicine practice used to help turn breech babies (babies positioned feet or buttocks first) into a head down position before birth!

My 42-year-old patient has been trying for two years to conceive through IVF. She never retrieved more than 2 eggs and none made it through PGT testing. This last retrieval yielded SEVEN eggs! I am looking forward to another pregnancy announcement! ❤️

Because DHA is so vital for both mom and baby’s health, it is critical that you consume enough DHA during pregnancy. You can get DHA through your diet or take a high-quality prenatal vitamin with DHA. The 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommend that pregnant women eat about 8-12 ounces of seafood per week. Fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, light tuna, and herring are great sources of omega-3 fatty acids. Beware of larger fish, like king mackerel, bigeye tuna, swordfish, and shark – these all tend to have higher mercury content.

Many of us became more anxious but for some COVID-19 has sparked or amplified more serious mental health problems. Some are experiencing Long Covid symptoms and weren’t expecting this. A great number of people have reported psychological distress and symptoms of depression, anxiety, or post-traumatic stress.

Acupuncture is a viable healthcare modality for symptom control and disease management to improve the quality of life in Long Covid patients.
