We take the patient mantra “nothing about us, without us” to heart. At Savvy Cooperative, it’s important that the Savvy Crowd guides the decisions we make and the direction we take. What’s the best way to do this? As a cooperative (or co-op)! Because we are a co-op, Crowd members can become owners of the company, who each have equal votes in the major decisions we make and share in the profits. This is different than a typical corporation, which is primarily owned and governed by a small group of people. We believe allowing our users to become owners encourages a larger and stronger network of motivated consumers, which will better amplify the patient voice in the healthcare industry. Together, we can make a difference.
