It’s common to blame oneself for failing to correct 'a bad movement habit', but in reality, correcting a habit is usually a lost battle. Nervous system resists correction from the outside to defend its integrity, but it can change habits from the inside in a blink of an eye if it has an opportunity to learn by making new distinctions. All you need is to slowdown and explore movement in a way that naturally increases awareness, without trying to correct it(which requires less physical effort, but is counter-intuitive at first, until you get the results).
