I am thrilled to announce the launch of my new online Sleep Academy—just in time for Sleep Awareness Week. We all know that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is the gold standard in treatment for insomnia, but it can often feel out of reach.
I designed the Sleep Academy to dismantle the two most common barriers to overcoming insomnia: access and affordability.
Sleep Academy Members gain access to my Sleep Reboot Masterclass and to The Sleep Transformation, a 7-module course based on CBT-I—all for less than the cost of one individual psychotherapy session.

Stop the snooze!
This habit may seem harmless, but it can really mess with your entire day (and night!).

We all know that sleep is essential for physical and mental health, but how do you get good sleep during a pandemic?
A few simple practices can make a big difference:
Keep a consistent wake up time. This helps to set your body clock so you’ll be sleepy at bedtime. Varying your wakeup time can lead to nighttime insomnia.
Limit news and social media in the evening. Set a shut-off time and stick to it. News is very activating and can lead to agitation that will keep you awake at night. In stressful times, we need a longer off-ramp from busy-ness of the day.
Don’t try to sleep! If sleep isn’t cooperating, play hard to get. Distract your mind by reading, coloring, doing sudoku, or listening to music until your body tells you it is ready to sleep.
