YU Industrial/ Organizational Psych Society

YU Industrial/ Organizational Psych Society Welcome to the Yeshiva University IO Psychology Society. This is place where YC, SYMS, and STERN collide. Industrial Organizational Psychology a.k.a.

work psychology is the scientific study of employees, workplaces, and organizations. IO focuses on improving the workplace, efficiency and performance in order to produce the best results. The goal of our IO Society is to connect and empower YU students currently pursuing their professional careers, provide a forum for sharing relevant information, and promote IO oriented event and opportunities. Through this group we hope to provide open communication among members, as well as providing an IO Psych element to Student Life at YU.

Hi everyone!

There is a possibility that the SCW Psychology Department will be able to offer an IO (industrial-organizational) Psych elective this coming Fall, but only if there is enough interest. The only prerequisite for the course would be intro to psychology, and it would count as a psych elective in the major. If you are at all interested in this course, please respond to THIS google form as soon as possible! We need as many responses as possible in the next couple of days to make this happen, so please take 30 seconds to respond. Responding to the google form in no way constitutes a commitment to register for the course; we are just trying to gauge interest. If you have any questions about the course, please contact Dr. Bacon at jbacon@yu.edu.

Also, if IO Psych is something that interests you, like the Yeshiva University IO Psychology page to find out about upcoming events on campus!

Good luck on midterms!
