Very pretty 16 years old young woman five days following her Closed Rhinoplasty. Minimal bruising, normal swelling and no visible incisions!! Her happiness with her elegant nose that complements her other terrific facial features is totally obvious as she says “this is exactly what I wanted!”. Even after performing many many thousands of Closed Rhinoplasties, I get tremendous pleasure in making patients feel so happy.

A rhinoplasty is a life changing event regardless of the patient’s age. I love what I do!

This patient describes her changes 6 days after the procedure. Swelling will go away giving more contour and skin contraction over the next several weeks as collagen formation increases.

Patients can be totally awake but we will need to inject local anesthesia. Some patients request mild relaxation such as taking a Va**um. Of course, it is possible to have more sedation for people who prefer.

I am performing Closed Rhinoplasty (no visible incisions) for all ages – teenagers to 60s. Occasionally someone in their 70s. For all patients there are two main criteria (1) good health and (2) desire to have the nose they always wanted.

For most patients, if there are any bruises, they are gone in 10 days to two weeks. At 21 days everyone can be back in the gym or swimming laps. And yes, there are many older individuals that swim for exercise – Chronological Age is just a number! Physiological Age and Mental Age are the most important ages.

🦊 Known fox mother of 3 young pups inspecting the yet to bloom flowers in the English Garden as seen from our 2nd floor bedroom window very early Sunday morning before the sun rises. We can see that her left back leg appears injured.

🌸 All of the white trees are Yoshino cherry and all of the pink trees are Kwanzan cherry.

⬅️ Second-to-last photo is a weeping Japanese maple. It will change color in the next two weeks.
