Very pretty 55-year-old lady for whom three minutes before this picture I completed autologous fat grafting to the face, deep plane facelift and closed rhinoplasty with septal straightening.

A combination of procedures that I perform often. Usually the patients say they wanted to have a rhinoplasty earlier in life but did not for various reasons. Having it done along with the facial rejuvenation is a prefect time.

The Ambassador was a fabulous lady. She invited Muffie and me to visit her and have dinner with her at the American Embassy in Paris, which we did. When she passed away, we were called to meet with her family at the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown to be in the funeral procession and sit with the family at the Washington National Cathedral. It was a magnificent celebration of her magnificent life.

Yesterday I received this letter from a wonderful patient from another state for whom I performed facial rejuvenation which included the facelift that she discusses. It is truly rewarding and gives me great pleasure to make patients happy with surgery I perform and the excellent care under my unparalleled team including Dennice, Debbie, Maren, Jessie, and the wonderful team of post operative care nurses who have been taking care of my facelift patients for many years. They are experts at facelifting and facial rejuvenation care post operatively.

Facelifts are procedures I perform almost every surgery day which includes all day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. While these procedures are “what we do”, we understand that it is a very unique experience for the individual patients. Therefore, we consider every patient’s experience unique for us and we want to make it the best surgical and post operative care experience that can be received anywhere in the world. While our schedule has a significant number of patients that are considered “celebrities” by many people, every patient is a celebrity in our minds. We treat every patient as family. I am sure that is why we have many facial rejuvenation patients that are two generations and many rhinoplasty families that are two and three generations. The world mourns the death of President James Carter but, at the same time, it gives us the opportunity to celebrate the life of a unique individual who was humble, honest and always strived to make life better for mankind.

The photographs above were taken at a reception that my wife, Muffie, and I, gave for President Carter and Mrs. Rosalynn Carter at our home in New York City in September 2000. The party was attended by a number of notable individuals. In the 1st picture are President and Mrs. Carter, and Mike and Mary Wallace. In the 2nd picture, Former New York Governor Mario Cuomo and Matilda Cuomo are seen and in the 3rd picture is Muffie and President Carter.

After the party, Muffie and I, and President and Mrs. Carter had dinner at the 21 Club. President Carter and I shared common backgrounds in that we were both farmers from small rural villages. The very next night, much to my surprise, President and Mrs. Carter came to my son’s newly opened restaurant which I had mentioned over dinner the previous night. Having a 2nd dinner with the Carters was fabulous!!

It is accurate to say that President James Earl Carter, Jr. and Mrs. Eleanor Rosalynn Smith Carter left this world better than they found it.

I am so very appreciative for the wonderful text message I received yesterday from a very pretty lady for whom I performed a facelift a few months ago. It means a great deal to me that she is so pleased with her results that she sent the message above and a family photograph taken during dinner with her beautiful family while on a holiday ski trip in Switzerland.

My greatest reward is making changes in people's lives that make them really happy. For me it is not work. It is a passion! I love what I do!! 💯

It was an honor to have been asked by the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery President many months ago to make a surgical video of my facelift technique. At the Annual Meeting Friday, I presented a video of my surgery on a beautiful lady from Monte Carlo (of course with her consent) demonstrating her facelift, necklift, browlift and radiofrequency skin rejuvenation. The audience saw her one week after surgery with no bruises and minimal swelling. Her 17 months follow up photographs showed great results with facial, jawline and neck contours, perfect brow positions and hairline positions the same as pre op and invisible suture lines.

Also, I presented a half hour lecture on Bipolar Radiofrequency and Radiofrequency Microneedling as stand-alone procedures and combined with surgical procedure for facial and neck contouring and skin rejuvenation.

CSAPS is a fabulous organization with a superb 3-day educational program and an excellent faculty of members of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and CSAPS.

I was so pleased to receive this very sincere note of appreciation from a very pretty 30-year-old Closed Rhinoplasty patient who is one month following surgery. For the first time in her life, she can breathe easily through her nose and the aesthetic refinements are equally pleasing. This is a life altering procedure for this young lady who will always be able to breathe easily through her nose and have an elegant nasal contour that matches the beauty of the remainder of her face. I am grateful and appreciative for the kind words and beautiful present from a patient today. It is always an honor to make a difference in my patients’ lives, helping them feel confident and happy with the results of their surgery.

This very pretty 76-year-old lady has been a patient for the past 25 years. Her appearance today is totally natural but suggests she has gotten younger with the passage of time. Elegant results never appear to have been produced by surgery. Happy patients—Happy Surgeon.

Back to work after a great Thanksgiving holiday long weekend. Starting the week as usual with a Closed Rhinoplasty for a very pretty 36-year-old physician who now has an elegant nose to match the remainder of her pretty face. In addition, I corrected her deviated septum so that now she has excellent breathing passages on both sides of her nose. Her new nose looks elegant and will function extremely well.
