Kevin P. Browne, DNP, RN, CNS, FNAP, CCRN: Appointed the Dr. Ning Zhao Chair of Nursing at Lenox Hill Hospital, endowed by the Ge Li and Ning Zhao Family Foundation. Dr. Browne has been a nurse for 38 years and is vice president and chief nursing officer across Northwell’s 3 Manhattan campus hospitals — Lenox Hill Hospital, Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital and Northwell Greenwich Village Hospital.

The goal? To empower our community to take proactive steps—like regular self-exams and mammograms—to support lifelong breast health.

30 states, a dozen countries and a world championship on the horizon, Tracy Feiertag doesn't just have Northwell Health as a sponsor on her jersey, she's also the Vice President of Northwell Greenwich Village Hospital in the West Village.

What started as a comment in passing while out to dinner with a few of her Northwell colleagues, has turned into a unique partnership both inside and outside of the hospital that has given Tracy and Northwell recognition globally.

Starting today, John D'Angelo, MD, officially assumes the role of president and CEO of Northwell Health.

A physician first and foremost, Dr. D’Angelo leads with compassion. He began his more than 25-year tenure at Northwell as an emergency medicine physician at Glen Cove Hospital, and more recently served as executive vice president of the health system’s central region, advancing into health system-wide clinical and administrative leadership roles.

In his first few months as CEO, Dr. D’Angelo will focus on solidifying the Nuvance Health merger and advancing Northwell's digital transformation efforts.

“I’m honored to lead Northwell into an era of innovating for better health for all, where exceptional care, empowered employees, and thriving communities are the standard,” said Dr. D’Angelo.
