My healing journey is my scariest but most beautiful one yet.

Spending more time with myself, in nature and listening to what my body needs is how I heal.

I allow myself body and mind to tell me what I need. More rest, more time outside, more food, more movement.

I now take the time to listen, when I never used to. I used to push, push, push and constantly go because I thought that was the only way to get ahead and to get stronger.

On this healing path, I've learned to slow down and appreciate all the moments. I had gratitude for every moment of everyday.

Is burnout your badge of honor?

My whole life it was instilled in me to work hard no matter what. Get a top, paying job, wake up early, go to bed late, work, work, work.

I picked a career that would make me money but I didn't love it. It didn't excite me, but it gave me the lifestyle I wanted.

But with the lifestyle I wanted I couldn't even celebrate it because I was so damn tired all the time. Life wasn't so exciting anymore, working out seemed like a chore all the sudden, taking my dog for a walk was stressful. And all these feelings were because I was so burnt out.

Why do we normalize burnout and feel as if we are strong because we have it but haven't totally normalized mental health?

Why is meditation and breathwork such a woo woo idea?

Why is putting our happiness, sanity and health above all seen as a negative thing?

I'm here to normalize taking a break, getting your life back, finding what makes you happy and getting to do that $h!t everyday.

For me it was finding reiki, breathwork and meditation. Those things elevate me everyday and I am thankful for them. It was finding gratitude in everything.

But healing from Burnout is different for everyone but I am here to tell you, you can heal.

You can find that joy and bliss you had as a child. You can wake up excited and energized to start everyday. You can. You can.

I am here to guide that healing.

Happy earth day 🌍

I always try to get out into nature everyday. I love being outside and being in nature.

If you know me, I'm rarely wearing shoes unless there is snow on the ground and I love that feeling.

Woke up for a sunrise porch swing & coffee date with my Dakota girl. She sat on my lap while I meditated and did my gratitude practice.

I got so busy with life, my morning practice fell off a bit. I felt tense, pain in my jaw from clenching and in my upper back from holding in all of the tension. It showed me how much I need my morning meditations and meditation because I don't want to feel like that anymore.

Tomorrow at noon is the event with at 12pm EST (9am PST) in this event I will go into how to use breathwork, gratitude and meditation to overcome burnout and stress. Another weekend of love and outside activities to decompress.

I've always been a lover of all outside activities especially those on the water and at the beach. I am so greatful to live in a place where I am surrounded by water. Thankfully Kota also loves the water so she gets to come along on all the adventures.

After an amazing, sunny weekend I am all ready for this week ahead.

I have two live events this week and I am super excited to share them.

On Wednesday at 12pm EST (9am PST) I am hosting an event with where I will teach breathwork skills you can take with you everyday as well as leading a meditation. This will be a great class if you experience burnout and are ready to learn coping skills that are easy ans really work so you can get back to your energetic and highest self. Link to sign up in BIO

On Thursday I am offering a free class that also offers breathwork and meditation and will also be doing a reiki healing session for all those involved. This is from 7-8pm EST.

This is why meditation is so important!

Not only does meditation help you to get clear on your intention, but like discussed yesterday, meditation can help us move from Survival mode into creation mode. That is those loving thoughts, kind acts, fun, high vibing spirits.

Personally, I was always stressed out. I had become so accustom to living that way that I had chronic knots in my necks and always felt impending doom. Though I've been at my health and wellness journey for a bit, it wasn't until this year that I really took a turn for the better. I knew I wanted more joy out of life, I wanted to wake up and be excited about the day no matter what it held for me.

My brain has always been very go go go and getting into meditation was tough for me. I think a lot of people experience this. But when I added breathwork I was more easily able to get into that meditative state. After being able to get deeper into those meditations, I became clear on my intention. Then my next step was to elevate my emotions. I exercised more, I did more deep breathing, I signed up for courses in things that I love and aligned with me, I spent more time outside, I told more people I loved them, I checked in on more friends to see what they were doing. Anything to raise my vibration. I didn't do these things because I knew I needed to, I genuinely wanted to...and they became easier as my vibrational energy got higher.

I will be doing breathwork and meditation videos later this week and next so that you can see a bit what the practice looks like. And you can reap the benefits that I've found to be so helpful as well

My favorite part about reiki, breathwork and meditation has been learning about the transformation of living in survival vs Creation mode. I found that I really needed to make a change because I was so stuck in that survival mode.

Most people are stuck in survival mode. As humans we can activate our fight or flight (survival mode) with just our thoughts alone. We don't actually have to be in any danger for this to occur. Being in this survival mode pushes us down to operate at lower frequencies. Most of our thoughts come from fear of what could go wrong, how we could be embarrassed or how many things we have on our plate. These thoughts are a cycle that submerges us into a survival state of being. Being in that cycle for long enough leads us to a constant state of panic. Operating at this low frequency means that we are no longer expanding. It leads to sickness, mental and physical.

To break this cycle we need to not only change our thoughts but how we feel. How we feel will be transformational and our thoughts will follow.

Instead of saying I will be happy today, you need to feel it. How I like to do this is think of something I love. My puppy is usually what I think of. She fills my heart up with so much love and I just sit with that feeling. Think of your favorite place, or the sunshine on your face and just allow that glow of love to consume you. Do this a few times a day for just 5 minutes. You will feel a transformation. When changing into a state of creation you can being to expand again, you can begin to achieve everything you want because you are now operating at a higher frequency.

Take time every morning to settle into a comfortable position. Close your eyes and think of something you love. Feel that warmth overcome you. Write out a list of things you are greatful for a what you hope to accomplish. Revisit this list often. Revisit the love as much as you can.

Another week to be excited about.

Mondays are typically the stressful day. The day you have to get back into the work week and your normally scheduled activities.

I am so excited to start this week! Last night I got a jump start on my week with an amazing reiki session. It was my clients first time doing reiki and it was such an amazing, juicy session. The amount of energy we both felt was simply amazing. I am so amped to be able to share this healing magic with others. She said to me she usually doesn't like things she doesn't understand but really wanted to try reiki. I typically don't like things I can't wrap my head around either but sometimes you just know it is the right thing for you. Intuition, such a beautiful thing. My first reiki healing session was similar, I knew I needed to do it but didn't understand what it was. I still fully reaped the benefits of this healing energy though. That is what is so amazing.

Also super excited for this week as tonight is my Academy of Breath Certification call! I joined a 6 week course with to become a certified meditation and breathwork teacher and tonight is my turn to lead a practice. Not only will I be a Certified coach in these areas but the journey has been transformational. It has deepened my reiki practice and taken me to another level in my meditation and yoga practice.

Going outside the box and diving into these hobbies is so much fun. I never really knew what I was passionate about until I discovered more about myself. That means lots of alone time, listening to my thoughts. My life is so fast paced and being able to slow down has been awesome. I am so greatful to find things that get me excited each day instead of just going through the motions.

Are you afraid to dig deep into your passions? Are you afraid of your thoughts? Or what others may think of your hobbies?

Be authentically you. Do what you want to do. Your happiness is the most important thing.

Find the beauty and light within everyday. Have gratitude for every little thing.
