Preview of coming attractions! I’m in the process of redesigning my website, which will now be integrated with my electronic health record, making it easier for existing clients to access their secure online client portal! My physical office is also moving as of 11/01/2022. Still in the same area of NYC, but closer to Madison Square Park & Flatiron. My practice is still primarily Telehealth only at this time, but the physical office address will change for business purposes & any future in-person therapy sessions. Stay tuned!

When you need to calm down quickly:

🌎 Ground yourself in your surroundings. Note what you can hear, see, touch, taste, or smell to move your awareness from your racing thoughts.
🌎 Breathe deeply. Try slow, deep breathing, where you fill up your belly with breath and exhale it over several seconds.
🌎 Get outside. Spending as little as 10 minutes outside can improve mood, focus, heart rate, and blood pressure.
🌎 Practice gratitude. Maybe not for the stressor that has made you upset, but for the other things in life that you’re thankful for.
