That is how old rules form.

Not because they were correct.

What determines the intensity of the hurt
is the rule it activates.

Old rule:
If I’m not prioritized, I’m optional.

That prediction fires instantly.
The emotion follows.

Before deciding what it means about them,
notice what it means inside you.

Emotion is the notification.
