Check our Clubhouse Programming on IG LIVE Mon-Thursday 1-2PM We connect New York City’s youth (13-29) with compassionate healthcare in a judgment-free environment. Through street outreach, online tools, and strategic partnerships, we are able to reach youth, adolescents and adult MSM in underserved communities while informing them about s*xual and general health

Youth and Prevention Servi

--Offer care coordination, healthcare and supportive services, to make housing and healthcare accessible to all.

--Specialize in serving young gay men of color, young men who have s*x with men (YMSM), MSM and transgender people of color of any age, active drug users, LGBTQ youth, and the homeless or unstably housed.

--Connect HIV-Positive and HIV-Negative individuals with lifesaving medical treatment, such as PrEP and PeP.

--Promote open communication about s*xual and general health through our drop-in center.

--Provide group-level intervention through Many Men Many Voices (3MV), which addresses issues of identity, relationships, stigmas, and s*xual health.

--Support individuals struggling with substance use in a judgement-free environment.

--Assist transgender individuals with safe transition practices, including hormone replacement therapy and guidance on gender reassignment surgery.

--Our community of caring medical providers offers stability and security to the youngest members of our community, as well as access to routine, local healthcare to ensure a lifetime of positive health.

Last month, Housing Works Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) hosted its annual art show in the East Village. The exhibition featured staff and community members from our Art Therapy program, showcasing works in a variety of mediums, including fine art paintings, embroidery, collages, pottery, and more. Attendees had the opportunity to purchase pieces directly from the artists. Prices ranged from $5 to $500,000, with more than 100 pieces available to choose from.

Our Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) program supports adults (18+) living with HIV/AIDS or at higher risk, who are eligible for Medicaid. We take a whole‑person approach—offering long‑term support, therapy, case management, and access to healing services in a safe, affirming space. Services include individual and group support, mental health counseling, hot meals, creative and recreational therapies, and more!

As Women’s History Month comes to a close, we honor the trans women who have always been at the forefront of the fight for liberation. Black trans women have built the LGBTQ+ movement as we know it, and their legacy lives on in every fight.

On Trans Day of Visibility, we recognize that visibility is not always safe or possible. What must always be possible is support. From gender affirming care, an LGBTQIA+ youth clubhouse, protesting for trans rights in Albany, D.C. and New York, we will continue to stand for trans everywhere.

12 years ago, The Undetectables began at Housing Works with a simple but powerful idea: incentivizing people to take their HIV medication.

Dr. Archie shares how The Undetectables program proves to be innovative and successful. With nine city partnerships, the program continues to create healing spaces, build community, and support people in staying on their HIV medication.
