My tip of the day is
Use balls on one side of the body at a time for most effective release.
Doing it on one side encourages focus and targeted awareness.
Our 2 sides are different.
And find the soft tissues, not the bones and joints.
TFL release has been my GO TO mobilization of the week for pelvic hip and lumbar pain.

A common mistake people make when doing reformer footwork is tucking the butt under.
Here's my solution to isolating the hips and creating a more neutral spine posture for patients who have a hard time feeling it or getting there.

I think this applies to anyone who sits for long time periods because our posterior actually gets tight and contracted, because our hip flexors always dominate in sitting.

I posted a video a few weeks ago about how not to train your hip.
Here's what I would suggest instead.
To keep your hips stabilized in extension.
In other words
1. Keeping your hip flexors lengthened
2. Keeping your pelvis balanced
3. Strengthening the glute max and medius. Not creating ITB pain and problems.
