Unacceptable stairing when asked for random?
I specifically asked for "random" to avoid "H" and other patterns, and this is what it looks like. 6' boards. LVP. Seems like pretty obvious stairing and not random, and there's no directional break. Also in the single most visible stretch of our house where we won't have a rug (continues the opposite direction to our kitchen).
Thoughts? Am I being unreasonable? I haven't said anything at this point, just noticed after I got home tonight.

Is this the correct way to support a steel beam? This is in a place they are building next to me. The whole place seems like a hack job even though it’s a custom with a basketball court in the downstairs. But I noticed this steel beam in the first pic you can see that less then a quarter inch of it is supported and on the 2nd pic you can see they just stacked steel to support it. Most of the steel beams in this place are like this.

Bought a Yukon toolbox for the kids changing table. Custom labeled as "Crap-On". The draws are very handy for all the items needed. Once the diapers are gone, I'll have another toolbox for the garage. Win win.

Posting to caution anyone who owns the rocker style camp chairs. We experienced a very chaotic incident when our dog got his paw stuck in the space in the front bottom part of the chair. When he cried in pain my first instinct was to get out of the chair which pinched it more. He was yelping and howling like I have never heard. As we tried to free him from the chair, he was panicking and bit my husband’s hands several times. Today we modified the chair with pool noodles to hopefully prevent further injuries. Thankfully Nico has only a limp as a result and Brian has been put on an antibiotic to hopefully prevent infection in his very painful bite injuries.
This pivot point on the rocker creates a hazard space for pets or children or even adults to get pinched. Please be aware if you own these chairs. See less

A Fresno woman returning to Fresno from the 209, was driving southbound on freeway 99 when someone threw a large rock from an overpass. She says it went through the windshield and hit her 11-year-old daughter in the chest and chin. The incident was reported to the CHP. 📸 Theresa Cochran

Anyone know what this is for? It came with my house from 1948. Measures about 4.5” x 5”. Front part lifts up. The only markings is a handwritten “50” on the back. Looks like it would have originally been black.
