It is an honor to be selected among Newsweek’s Top Plastic Surgeons and Top Plastic Surgeons for abdominoplasty. Newsweek’s list was compiled based on over 10,000 votes in a nationwide survey. It is a privilege to help others look and feel their best, and having dedicated my surgical practice exclusively to breast and body surgery, it is a true honor to be recognized.

There are mommy makeover transformations that are arguably worth getting shadow banned for…this is one of them. There is no smoke 💨 and mirrors. No weird positions before or after. No lighting tricks. And best of all, it’s the same person. I could not be happier for this mama who was understandably nervous before such a comprehensive surgery, for her total transformation. We did 1) Mastopexy (breast lift, no implants, I used her own tissue to shape), 2) Abdominoplasty, 3) Liposuction of flanks and lower back. Thank you to this beauty for letting me share her phenomenal results at 4 months post-op. 💗

This 👏🏼 is 👏🏼 61. It is an honor that this healthcare colleague who is 61 years young chose me to help her achieve her aesthetic goals. She is only 1 week (!!) post-op from a breast reduction/lift (no implants), and liposuction 360 (abdomen, flanks, back). I generally do not share photos this early post-op because the scars are fresh, there is peak swelling and bruising, surgical tape is on, etc, but I am so happy for her and cannot wait for her results to continue to improve throughout her post-op journey.

By now, you’ve probably seen this widely shared article in lifting the curtain on deceptive b&a photos in aesthetics. This is an area I feel very strongly about, and am often so disappointed when I see these ploys widespread on social media. It was a privilege to share my thoughts to help potential patients look more critically at the images they see online. wrote a knockout piece, I highly recommend the read (link in bio). Below are what I think are some of the worst culprits:
⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🚫 submental liposuction/lower face lift/neck lift: before photo has patient looking down which exaggerates the neck fullness and laxity, after photo has patient looking straight ahead
🚫 abdominoplasty/abdominal lipo: before photo has patient seated with the abdominal fat/excess tissue hanging over, after photo has the patient standing straight or laying flat on their back (everyone’s abdomen looks amazing when they are laying on their back!!)
🚫 abdominoplasty/lipo for mommy makeover: before photo is their 9 months pregnant photo, after is post-op (of course they didn’t look 9 months pregnant right before their surgery!)
🚫 BBL: after photo is in the OR with the table flexed so their buttock is more projecting
🚫 arm liposuction/brachioplasty: before photo has arm against the body (which we all know is the least flattering arm angle!), after photo has the arm away from the body (or hand on hip which makes the arm look even more defined)
🚫 entire b&a portfolio on social media with only on-table results in the OR: this is one of the most misleading for any surgical procedure since on-table results are very different from healed results (at least >3 months post-op)

We constantly hear about 15 step skin care routines on social and it’s enough to make your head spin 😵‍💫. I often get asked about different products, one of the most talked about, but also confusing, is hyaluronic acid (HA). This article lists the best for each skin need, and I’ve summarized the key points of HA below! Thank you to for including me!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🧬 Hyaluronic acid is a molecule found naturally in the body's connective tissue, mainly in our skin.
💧One of the most valuable things that HA provides for our skin is water - it binds water (and holds up to 1,000x its weight in water!) to maintain the plump and hydrated appearance of our skin. It also boosts skin's elasticity, contributes to facial volume, acts as a moisturizer, assists in wound healing. and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
👍🏼 HA is safe for all skin types and tones.
🧴 What order should you apply it? HA should be applied to damp skin after cleansing, as this allows it to retain moisture longer. Applying a moisturizer after helps further seal in the moisture.
