KLM Eye MDs

KLM Eye MDs The office and surgery center are easily accessible by bus and the Q train stop at Avenue J.

KLM Eye MDs was established over 60 years ago to provide the residents of Brooklyn, New York and the surrounding communities with comprehensive, personalized care for all of their eye health needs. The practice has five doctors on staff who provide specialized care in almost every sub-specialty, including cataract diagnosis and surgery, retinal disease, oculoplastic surgery, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, and pediatric ophthalmology. The physicians and staff treat every patient individually, drawing upon their broad base of knowledge to ensure that they deliver expert care for every ocular condition. The team of doctors, which includes Dr. Mark Lebowitz, Dr. Laurey Mogil, Dr. Moshe Szlechter, Dr. Elena Geller, and Dr. Steven Inker, is dedicated to providing the latest treatments and techniques for optimal eye health. A key component of their state-of-the-art care is the Brooklyn Eye Surgery Center — which features the latest technology for laser-assisted and refractive cataract surgery, as well as retinal, glaucoma, and oculoplastic surgery. The convenience of having an on-site surgical center allows physicians of KLM Eye MDs to provide surgical procedures for their patients in an accredited and certified Ambulatory Surgical Center without the need to go to a hospital. KLM Eye MDs also employs a certified contact lens specialist, Barbara Lee, to assist patients with all of their contact lens needs, including complex cases, such as severe astigmatism, keratoconus, and other corneal conditions. The doctors at KLM Eye MDs are available Monday through Friday, and the combined staff offers services in English, Russian, Albanian, Turkish, Spanish, French, Haitian Creole, and Chinese. It might be time for bifocals. Naturally, as we age, the ability to focus and clearly see near objects may get harder to do. This is believed to be due to the decreased efficiency of the ciliary body (muscle inside the eye) and the lens in your eyes losing their flexibility. If you notice your nearsightedness isn't as clear as it used to be, please don't hesitate to schedule an appointment with us.
