Lenox Hill Ortho Acting Internships:
Now accepting applications with above requirements. Email application materials with Top 3 block requests to lhhorthoresidency@northwell.edu. SOS Scholarship applicants please include a separate 300 word essay on the topic. Please note all applications must also be sent through VSLO and “accepted” slots are contingent upon clearance through VSLO and the Zucker SOM.

Timeline:
Early Decision (open now)
-May apply to all available blocks.
-Results provided NLT March 9th.
-Will fill no more than 50% of slots.
-Overflow will roll over to standard decision with continued consideration.

All Others:
-Applications accepted on rolling basis
-May request any available slots through 2026 cycle
-Announcements in two stages to align with AOA universal offer days
(4/13 and 5/5)

Rotation Blocks:
Block 1: 5/11-6/7
Block 2: 6/8-7/5
Block 3: July Closed for Home AI
Block 4: 8/3-8/30
Block 5: 8/31-9/27
Block 6: 9/28-10/25
Block 7: 10/26-11/22
Block 8: 11/23-12/20 (tentative)
NOTE: All dates are final and cannot be modified.

Rotation Design:
-Maximum 4 rotators per block
-Blocks 1 - 2 will include two 2 week subspecialty focused blocks with primary faculty mentors
-Blocks 4 - 8 will include four 1 week subspecialty blocks

Congrats to the entire Sports Med team on an awesome conference! Had a great time lecturing and discussing multiligament knee injuries with and NISMAT colleagues to a packed house of NYC therapists, ATCs and physicians. Many thanks to course director and our Northwell for the invite and all the hard work organizing! Always learn more than I teach with partners like and sharing the stage!

Dr. Zacchilli and Carolyn Bernieri PA, DMs joined Head Athletic Trainer Alyson Ocasio and Assistant Trainer Miche Dias at the College of Staten Island in August and September, performing over 215 preseason physicals and orthopedic screening exams in 3 days for College of Staten Island athletes. The Northwell sports medicine team is proud to support the college’s 14 NCAA programs as they enter their 5th year at the Division 2 level!

Your leadership in the last year has been instrumental in building for the next era of our program, and your mentorship of our junior residents has been incredible!
