Earlier this summer, Dr. Stephen Glicksman, Director of Innovation presented at the 19th European Congress of Psychology in Paphos, Cyprus. The conference was attended by over 1100 psychologists and mental health practitioners from around the world. Dr. Glicksman’s presentation was on, “Using moral theory to inform policy for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disorders” and focused on the issue of how to promote normalization and inclusion for people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. “I was so proud to represent Makor and spread our message to an international audience. My hope is that the message I gave as well as what I learned from others will help us not only enhance the lives of the individuals Makor itself serves, but through Makor’s educational and advocacy endeavors, will help us elevate the field as a whole.” 🙌🏻👏🏻
