Dear Valued Pavilion Family,
We hope this letter finds you in good health. As Thanksgiving approaches, we would like to start by offering our sincerest thanks to you. During this unprecedented time, we are more grateful than ever that you have put your trust in us to care for your loved one. We understand our responsibility and that is not something we take lightly or for granted; so, for that we thank you!
Thanksgiving will look a little different this year at the Pavilion, as we are still not permitted to have any visitors, but we are excited to share what we are doing to make it feel special for our residents. We will be hosting a holiday brunch for our residents on Wednesday, November 25 as well as a traditional Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, November 26, 2020. Additionally, we will be hosting an in-house Thanksgiving Day parade on each floor to enhance the holiday spirit and make the day extra festive and fun.
Please know, we are more dedicated than ever to ensure that you’re able to stay in communication with your loved one during this time. We have increased the number of video calls and window visits so our residents have the opportunity to feel more connected during the holiday season. We recognize that window visits and video calls are not the same as being able to sit down with your loved one at the Thanksgiving table. However, we greatly appreciate you being on the same page as us with prioritizing resident and staff safety above everything else.
As always, we are here for you to help accommodate any needs as best we can. Please, don’t hesitate to reach out to us with anyway we can make that happen.
Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.
Your Pavilion at Queens Family
