Since its founding in 2009, the Sherkow Center for Child Development and Autism Spectrum Disorder, a not-for-profit organization, has been dedicated to supporting children with autism and their families through compassionate and individualized care. Our mission is to provide therapeutic programs to help children build social, emotional, and communication skills, empowering them to thrive in their daily lives.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have been able to provide countless scholarships over the years, ensuring that families who couldn’t otherwise afford treatment still have access to the care their children need.

Today, 13 children and their families benefit from partial to full scholarships, which include access to:
Individual Therapy
Social Skills Groups
Medication Management
Parent Support Groups & Individual

Your support helps ensure that no child is left behind due to financial barriers. Every dollar you contribute will directly fund scholarships for group and individual therapy, medication management, and parents support groups, giving these children a brighter future and providing their families with hope.

We are honored to announce that The Sherkow Center has been awarded the Autism Speaks Norma and Malcolm Baker Recreation Program Grant!

Our dedicated staff and amazing volunteers have helped us rise to the past year's challenges, and we are so thankful for this opportunity to continue our mission in the local community and beyond.
