Welcome to Einstein Cardozo Bioethics - fostering ethical practices in patient care, research and health policy. This collaboration between Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Cardozo Law builds upon the long history and rich clinical experience of the Montefiore Einstein bioethics consultation service. Our unique program integrates scholarship in medicine, law and the humanities, and includes a strong narrative focus to expand students' understanding of complex bioethical issues. With courses such as Consultation Skills, Reproductive Ethics, Empathy, and Policy Writing, our program provides personal enrichment while equipping you with the skills you need to navigate the nuances of policy and regulation in a changing healthcare environment. We accept applications from a diverse array of professionals, including physicians, lawyers, nurses, clergy and recent college graduates, who seek a deeper understanding of how bioethics can help them make a difference in patients' lives.

The faculty and associates of the Montefiore Einstein Center for Bioethics, in partnership with Montefiore Health System and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, are committed to advancing ethical care, confronting systemic inequities, and working toward a healthcare system where dignity, fairness, and compassion are realities for all.

As we enter the New Year, we are reminded that ethical reflection must be paired with action. Persistent inequities in health care, law, and society call for a renewed commitment to justice, accountability, and structural change. May the year ahead bring each of us clarity, moral courage, and continued commitment to ethical care and human dignity. We look forward to continuing this work together.
