In case you can’t read my wild medicine font, it’s Earth Day!
Go hug a plant!

All plants used were from my terrace and appropriatlely enough growing in the cracks except for the yarrow and wood betony which so far are pretty committed to staying where I planted them…In their pots!

Stinging nettles and mugwort were not disciplined enough to make the “alphabet cut” , but really wanted tk make an appearance:)

Stinging nettles are the dreamiest of wild edibles!

(One caveat though if you are new to harvesting and handling…They can only be eaten fresh if blended or juiced. Those stings are real and the leaves are not to be eaten without being thoroughly blended.)
