There isn't a better way to end Nurses Month than with celebrations in Westchester, the Bronx, and Brooklyn!

As Nurses Month comes to a close, this we know for sure: There aren't enough months in the year to express our gratitude for our nurses and all they do. They are a true example of kindness and care. They are, simply, the best. ❤️

We're all about going the extra mile for our communities!

Earlier this month, we headed out to Central Park to participate in the AIDS Walk 2026. More than 40 awesome team members walk alongside thousands of New Yorkers to advocate for better HIV/AIDS care.

Do you know why our Nurse Family Partnership team is great?

They’re going into local communities in the Bronx to help moms get the help they need for their expecting child. ❤️ Recently, the team attended The Bronx Health Link’s 3rd annual baby shower to spread awareness about our NFP and educate families about how we can support them.

This effort isn’t even imaginable without our NFP team representing us! We’re also so grateful to The Bronx Health Link for having us! 🙏

We love celebrating our amazing nurses! 🎊

We held two more celebrations in Queens and Staten Island for each of the teams in those areas. It's a small gesture, but we want to show our nurses that we really appreciate everything they do to keep New Yorkers healthy, happy, and independent. 💙

May is Speech Language Hearing Month and it's a perfect time to celebrate our Speech Language Pathologist of the Year Charlene! 🏆

Charlene has been with us for over 14 years, helping many people regain the ability to do activities we take for granted like eating or even swallowing. She tailors therapy for each patients' daily life situations. If a patient needs to make a phone call, she will help them practice making calls instead of repeating sentences. Her special skill is that she can bond with any of her patients. This skill is just as important as her SLP skills. “I sit and have conversations with people, and I end up connecting with them on a more personal level," she says.

Charlene we're so grateful to have someone who can get along with every patient! 🫂 You absolutely make a difference in their lives. 🙏

What's better than that?

The health plans team joined Polaris Healthcare at the ballpark to educate older adults about the different options they have for care and enjoy the game. Thank you to the Polaris Healthcare team for inviting us!

True strength in numbers! Even back in the day (1922), our nurses were ready to help our neighbors in need. That same expertise and purposeful passion thrive in our nurses today. We're proud of each of them, living the legacy today.💙

Feeling cared for is just as important as actually providing care. 🫂
A patient’s relative praised her loved one’s whole hospice team, especially nurse Natalie, who the relative appreciated because “She cared.”

It's just two simple words, but they have worlds of meaning. Natalie, thank you for helping our patients feel seen and heard. ❤️
