North Jersey Community Research Initiative - NJCRI

North Jersey Community Research Initiative - NJCRI Seeking cures for tomorrow, providing support for today. NJCRI is one of New Jersey’s largest and most comprehensive HIV/AIDS community-based organization.

We conduct state-wide HIV clinical trials and provide HIV care, treatment, and prevention services in the Greater Newark Area. NJCRI also provides a variety of health and social services including a pediatric clinic, food pantry, behavioral research, chronic illness management education, street outreach, substance abuse treatment, transportation, syringe exchange, an adult drop-in center for the homeless, and many LGBTQ services including a drop-in center for LGBTQ youth. Approximately over 9,000 people avail themselves of our free and confidential services each year. Our mission is to "empower our clients by reducing social and health disparities in the greater Newark area.”

NJCRI successfully hosted our symposium on Hepatitis C. The event featured insightful presentations from panelists representing the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH), our own NJCRI Hepatitis C Elimination team, Harm Reduction nurses from across the state, and a public law panel. The agenda was both comprehensive and engaging, contributing to a productive day of learning.
Additionally, we were able to offer Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits to participants, adding significant value to the symposium.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved—great job! We look forward to hosting another successful event in the future…
