All our services are currently offered in English, Spanish, Creole, and Portuguese, we accept all insurances, including Medicare and Medicaid as well as self-pay. Our Mission A Federally Qualified Health Center providing full-spectrum quality primary care in a culturally competent setting regardless of ability to pay.

At Saint James Health, we believe that good health begins with access to nutritious food. That’s why we’re proud to offer our Food Farmacy program in partnership with RWJ Newark Beth Israel Hospital and the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.

Through Food Farmacy, we provide food pantry services to both our patients and community members. Because without access to healthy food, it’s impossible to truly improve health outcomes. 💚

At SJH, we strive to care for the whole person—mind and body. This month, we celebrate the power of fruits and vegetables in building stronger, healthier lives.

Saint James Health is a community health center located in the East Ward of Newark, NJ. Conveniently located at 228 Lafayette Street, 2nd floor (adult care) and 4th floor (pediatric care) Newark, NJ 07105.

Our services include: Pediatric Health, WIC, Vaccines, Internal Medicine, Geriatric Health, Sports Medicine, Family Planning, OBGYN, Social Work, Integrated Behavioral Health, Laboratory Services, and Pharmacy Services. We're here to serve all residence of the community and beyond. Accepting all insurances, including Medicare, Medicaid, and self pay. We will work with you to make sure all your health care needs are met. We offer services in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Sliding Fee discounts are available.
