Due to the extreme temperatures expected, the Licking County Emergency Warming Center will be open Monday, Jan. 26, Tuesday, Jan. 27, Wednesday, Jan. 28, Thursday, Jan. 29 and Friday, Jan. 30 for anyone in need of a warm, safe place during the extreme cold.

❄️ Join us in helping to keep our community warm this winter! ❄️ The Licking County Emergency Center Warming Center Taskforce is looking for volunteers THIS WEEK to support the Emergency Warming Center at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. When temperatures drop to 10°F or below, the center opens its doors to provide warm meals and a safe place to stay — but it can only operate with the help of volunteers like you.

Volunteer Shifts Available:
💙 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM
💙 8:30 PM – 12:30 AM
💙 12:30 AM – 5:30 AM
💙 5:30 AM – 8:30 AM

❄️ In preparation for extremely cold temperatures, the Licking County Emergency Warming Center Task Force will open a warming center for anyone who is seeking a place to get out of the cold on Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14.

Warming Center Hours:

➡️ Saturday (12/13/25) from 5:00pm to 8:30am Sunday (12/14/25)
➡️ Sunday (12/14/25) from 5:00pm to 8:30am Monday (12/15/25)
➡️ Location: Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 592 West Main Street - Newark, Ohio

Please help the Licking County Emergency Warming Center Task Force reach those community members who are in need of a warm and safe place to temporarily shelter on extremely cold days or nights during the winter. Spread the word by sharing this information and reaching out to those in need.
