Rochester - Jerome Portis, 65, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, surrounded by his family.

The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at New Hope Evangelical Church, 464 Hawley Street, Rochester, NY. Jerome's funeral service will follow the visitation at the church. The burial will take place at Westside Cemetery, 60 Stryker Road, Scottsville, NY. Following Jerome's burial, the repass will be at Gates Memorial Park, 160 Spencerport Road, Gates, NY 14606.

James F. Prinzi, 92, of Newark, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 20, 2025. A Newark High School graduate of the class of 1951 and a Navy veteran, Jim served as an aviation mechanic from 1952 to 1956 during the Korean War.

In keeping with the family's wishes, there will be no prior calling hours. A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 26th at the Elks Club 233 S. Main St., Newark, NY from 2-6. Donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Humane Society of Wayne County at 1475 County House Rd., Lyons, NY 14489.
