Mommy Burnout: When "Five Minutes of Peace" Feels Impossible
Motherhood is a beautiful, exhausting, all-consuming journey. The days start early, the nights stretch long, and by 10 AM, it already feels like an entire day's worth of energy has been spent.
Before the coffee has kicked in, the to-do list is already growing:
☕ Cleaning up yet another spill
👟 Searching for the missing shoe (which, of course, was in the fridge)
🤯 Answering endless questions about why the sky is blue or why ice cream isn't a breakfast food
🍞 Negotiating over the unacceptable shape of a sandwich
The mental load is relentless: tracking schedules, remembering favorite bedtime stories, planning meals, and managing meltdowns. Between all that, there's the quiet realization that no one warned just how constant this season of life would be.
Burnout isn't just about being tired—it's about the weight of always being needed, of giving so much that there's barely anything left.

When people seek professional consultation, it’s because they are in need of change. They’re dealing with a situation that might cause prolonged distress, confusion, and emotional upset. Perhaps you’ve been in therapy before, and it didn’t help. Maybe you know you need treatment but are afraid to make that first phone call.
