Get to Know Dr. Hosmane

Dr. Vinay Hosmane is a Delaware local who has completed most of his medical training locally. He has spent time training abroad. He has over fourteen years of clinical experience since graduating from medical school. He is triple boarded in Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Internal Medicine. At Christiana Care Health System, he teaches Cardiology Fellows, Internal Medicine Residents, and Medical Students. There, he has participated in clinical research in the Section of Cardiology and has a special interest in cardiac ultrasound. His research has been cited internationally and by the American Heart Association. In addition, he has a Master’s Degree in Public Health with a concentration in Health Promotion/Disease Prevention and thus has a interest in prevention and cardiovascular risk reduction. His diverse experiences and ethnic background help him to be able to relate and treat people from all walks of life.
