Newark-Arcadia Emergency Medical Services Implements Body-Worn Camera Program
Newark, NY – Newark-Arcadia Volunteer Ambulance Inc (NAVA) dba Newark-Arcadia Emergency Medical Services is proud to announce the purchase and implementation of body-worn cameras for its emergency medical personnel. This initiative reflects NAVA’s continued commitment to transparency, accountability, provider safety, and high-quality patient care.
The body-worn camera program:
· Provides an objective record of interactions, enhance documentation accuracy, support training and quality improvement efforts,
· Promotes professionalism.
· Serves as a safety measure for our crews and patients.
Newark-Arcadia Emergency Medical Services remains dedicated to delivering compassionate, professional, and reliable emergency medical care. The body-worn camera program represents another step forward in strengthening trust between NAVA and the community we serve. NAVA is the third EMS agency, being the first 501(c)(3) EMS agency, in New York State to adopt a Body-Worn Camera program.
