Now we’ve got seven, and they’re packed most nights with parents watching their kids train.

🥶Snow shoveling season is here ❄️💪 — but let's not let it wreck our backs, hips, or hamstrings like it does for so many people every winter.

The repetitive bending, lifting, twisting, and pushing heavy snow is basically a full-body workout... without the warm-up or proper prep. That's why back strains, pulled hamstrings, and hip tightness are so common.

Build resilience BEFORE the next storm hits with this exact routine I use:

1. Back extensions → Reinforces your entire posterior chain to handle repeated forward bends

2. Nordics → Strengthens those hamstrings eccentrically so they don't snap when you're hinging to scoop

3. Elephant walks → Loosens up the posterior chain and improves forward bend mobility

4. Pigeon stretch → Opens tight hips/glutes that get locked up from all the twisting

5. Couch stretch → Releases hip flexors so you can stand tall instead of hunched over

Do this circuit 2–3x/week (or before big shoveling days) and focus on quality reps. Your body will thank you when you're clearing the driveway pain-free instead of laid up on the couch with ice packs.
