SPLASH DOWN MOMENTS: My therapy office is where we remember and celebrate “splash down moments” of courage. I get to be the crew that meets them in the water, we meet eyes and smile. I say to them, “Look what you just did! Well done! You are incredible.” The untrained eye may not have noticed that sometimes the most ordinary moment is monumental to them. I notice. And I get to know the story—the fear, the preparation, and the victory. I will never get tired of these moments.

Happy Thanksgiving!! We are remembering those in our community with food insecurity this holiday season.

We are collecting donations for the Bruin Pantry, a YCAP food pantry open to the whole community, based on the George Fox University campus. The food drive end December 19th. Stop by our office after your next trip to the grocery store or bring some non-perishable food items with you to your next counseling appointment or trip to Gusto downstairs! Our address is 901 N.
