Today was one of those simple, beautiful days that stays with you. We took our assisted living crew out to the tulip festival, and watching their faces light up among all those colors was something special. There’s just something about fresh air, flowers, and good company that brings out pure joy. We wrapped up the day with burgers at Nancy Joe’s—nothing fancy, just local food made with love. Lots of laughter, shared stories, and a few quiet moments that meant everything. Days like this remind me it’s the little outings, the small connections, that make the biggest difference. 💛

There was something extra special in the air this Easter at Avamere! 💛🐾

Our residents in memory care were all smiles as our new activity director brought in gentle, loving service dogs for a heartfelt visit. The room quickly filled with laughter, soft conversations, and the comforting presence only animals can bring.

Brightly colored marshmallow treats were tucked into unexpected corners, waiting to be discovered. It wasn’t just about the hunt, but about the joy of togetherness, the excitement of small surprises, and the warmth of celebrating traditions in new ways.

This Good Friday, something truly special happened at Avamere. 💛🐣

Our residents became hosts, hiders, and honorary grandparents for the day as they welcomed a local preschool for an Easter egg hunt filled with laughter and joy. Colorful eggs were carefully tucked away, tiny footsteps raced through the halls and gardens, and the air was filled with giggles that could brighten anyone’s heart.

But what made the day unforgettable wasn’t just the excitement of the hunt—it was the connection between generations. Our residents watched with smiles as little hands gathered eggs, shared stories, and soaked in the pure joy that only children can bring.
