Our prayers are with those who got much worse and are still without power from this storm that pushed across the US. We were well prepared - not the least of which was indoor "by lantern light" activities to enjoy if the power went out. We didn't have to flex our emergency preparedness muscle, but that didn't stop Nieiri from enjoying the plans they made for some board game tournaments and arts and crafts!

So far so good at Boys Farm - mostly just a beautiful show and no power outages for us!

Just finished making sure the herd gets fresh hay - Not the usual “look” for our South Carolina cows but - they’re doing great! All of our new calves are up and frisking about which is a beautiful blessing.

A big "Happy Birthday" recently to Landon and Elijah, celebrating together with a special night out to eat! We know it's true that they grow up so fast - it's inevitable... but we are especially blessed to see them grow up strong!

Things are getting exciting as the boys have gotten to start their ground work with Cowboy, and Derby is joining the "Team" today! It's such a treat seeing the different reactions of each of the boys, their natural confidence level, and the lessons that are already being absorbed!

Rein of Hope Progress Update!

But it’s not about the building. It’s about the tremendous opportunity to pour biblical character development, confidence, and inspiration into so many!

What started as a dream and a vision was so clearly affirmed by the Lord as He brought so many people along side of Boys Farm with eager support to make this a reality.

At the heart of the history of Boys Farm is where Pop and Mama Shealy began this ministry in 1960, aptly named "Shealy Cottage". It is currently the home of our Campus Life Director Jon Wooten and his family, as well as the Pathways to Independence housing for our graduates.

But at this very MOMENT it is preparing for a proper renovation honoring the Shealy's legacy! (We can imagine Mama Shealy watching from Heaven giving thanks that there will be exterior insulation soon for those carrying on the work they started!)

It's time to TACKLE IT this Tuesday! Back to school for the boys with Cyber Academy of South Carolina , and we are feeling grateful for the sunny warm weather as we head back in to Q3 of the 2025-2026 school year. Their future is even brighter than the forecast this next week!

Typically Q3 is the hardest quarter - not only right after the rush of the holidays, but days are cold and short, and there just seems to be less motivation. That is one of the amazing outcomes of Adventures in Academics Academy - last school year we STILL saw 60% of our students make Honor Roll in Q3 which is a radical improvement.

We are grateful for the hard work that each of the boys are putting in - not just for the grades but for the character that they are developing and the enthusiasm for success they are embracing.

right here in town - a fun adventure at our local course during some of this unseasonably warm weather. We are going to spend time outdoors in almost any weather, but what a blessing to have some warmer days to get out and get active! Good for the body, mind, and soul - seize every moment you can!
