We are excited to announce that Stephanie Anuszewski, PA will be joining our practice. She will start on September 1st.

Stephanie is a graduate of the University of Florida with over 20 years combined experience as a Physician Assistant. She has been practicing Dermatology in the Gainesville area for nearly ten years and is incredibly proud to be bringing her passion to Dermatology Specialists of Gainesville.

Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF) is a new and popular treatment for Androgenetic Alopecia (hormonal hair loss in both men and women). PRF is the next generation improved platelet concentrate slowly replacing Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). Like PRP, PRF is a desirable treatment because it is minimally invasive, has minimal side effects, is autologous in nature, and is much less expensive than hair transplantation.

Why I love doing what I do as a Dermatologist

“I love being a dermatologist because I get to help people with the same skin problems I’ve dealt with my whole life. I’ve had a ton of skin issues and I know how painful it can be. My acne was so bad that it’s left scars on my face and I at times felt embarrassed by it. I’d go see my dermatologist and try to act tough like it didn’t bother me but I was actually really sad over how I looked and how bad it hurt. Even now, sometimes my eczema drives me so crazy, I just want to cry. I know what my patients are going through because their pain is truly my pain. Nothing makes me happier than being able to help others feel comfortable in their skin.” - Dr. Mitchell
