White Oak of Newberry, located next to Newberry Memorial Hospital, provides long term nursing care,

White Oak of Newberry is a 146 bed skilled nursing center conveniently located next to Newberry Memorial Hospital. We provide long term nursing care, as well as short term rehabilitation. Nursing care is provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants 24-hours a day. Our interdisciplinary team develops an appropriate plan of care for each individual in coordination with the physician’s orders. The service of White Oak of Newberry is more than caring for immediate physical or medical needs. Through understanding, compassion, professionalism and respect, we strive to enhance the quality of life for each individual.

A little sweetness goes a long way 💙
Our Life Enrichment Care Partners spent time with our community members creating colorful Lollipop Bouquets to brighten up the care stations! Each vase is filled with Dum-Dums and lots of heart — a simple, meaningful vocational activity that allowed our residents to show appreciation for the incredible caregivers who serve them every day.
It’s the small gestures that make the biggest impact. 🍭✨

🍂🦃 A Heartfelt Pre-Thanksgiving Feast! 🦃🍂
Today, our community came together for one of our favorite traditions — our annual Pre-Thanksgiving Feast! There’s nothing sweeter than sharing good food, warm smiles, and special moments with the people who make this place feel like home.
This year’s celebration was filled with laughter, gratitude, and delicious plates enjoyed by residents, families, and staff. ❤️

Flashback Friday! In October, the White Oak of Newberry Skilled Care Center celebrated Wear It Pink Day in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. By wearing pink, we join forces with scientists, researchers, and supporters affected by breast cancer. Together, we can make real progress in research that can save lives by simply being aware. Stay well and practice prevention!

🎃👻 We need your help, sweet friends! 🍬
Halloween is right around the corner, and our Residents are excited to hand out treats to all the little ghosts and goblins who visit! 🧡
We’re collecting candy donations to make sure every trick-or-treater leaves with a smile (and a full bucket!). If you’d like to contribute, please drop off your donations at our front desk anytime before Halloween.

White Oak of Newberry decided to escape the heat with a Christmas in July party including Christmas music, plenty of food, and presents galore. One of our community members is pictured in front of our photo booth. We also had a craft/baked goods fundraiser and Life Enrichment thanks all of the staff that helped with food and pulling this together, as well as the family members who contributed crafts and baked goods. We were able to provide our community members and the guests who attended with an individualized experience; the Better Way.
