(Counseling and Medical Place) is a school-based health center that provides medical and mental health services to students at Tahquamenon Area School. is centrally located at Newberry High School, Room 170. This makes it very easy for students to access health services without having to leave the building. provides medical services for acute illnesses, chronic conditions, well child exams, immunizations, sport physicals, concussion vital signs and more through Laura Gribbell, FNP-C. Behavioral health services are provided by Adolescent Therapist Wendy Young, LMSW, BCD. Therapy services include, anxiety, depression, anger management, family or peer relationship, grief, PTSD, self esteem, academic concerns & substance abuse. We also partner with LMAS District Health Department to provide educational and support programs such as drug and alcohol awareness, nutrition, and smoking cessation classes and seminars. Services at The CAMP are designed for adolescents ages 5-21. We are here for those who have insurance, who are under-insured, or who have no insurance. If you are under the age of 18, you will need a parent/guardian to sign a consent form. Students can request confidential HIV/STD testing as well as pregnancy tests.*
