We are a privately owned nursing home offering nursing care as well as rehabilitation services.

Newburgh Healthcare is a privately owned facility that has served Warrick County and the Newburgh community for over 50 years. We offer skilled and/or intermediate nursing care as well as rehabilitations services. Some of our services and features available include but are not limited to:

* In-house physical, occupational, and speech therapy in partnership with Progressive Health
* In-house Beauty Shop and Barber Shop
* Direct TV provided with each room
* Activities of all kinds
* Conference room and lounges available for private gatherings
* Meals and snacks included in the daily/monthly rate
* Meals that can be modified for each resident's needs; alternates are available to choose from
* Laundry services and linens provided as required by state regulations
* 24-hour wander guard protection
* Full-time, on-site Certified Wound Care Specialist

Our annual Thanksgiving dinner is tomorrow! 🦃🍂

Our residents had a wonderful time creating extra centerpiece decorations to place under the vases for tomorrow’s tables. Their creativity and teamwork added such a special touch, and we can’t wait for everyone to enjoy the beautiful results! 💛

Newburgh Healthcare would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Kirk Rinella from the Evansville Wartime Museum for providing a powerful and meaningful presentation today on the traveling Holocaust exhibit. Kirk not only shared important historical background, but also offered personal stories and family testimony that deeply resonated with our residents and family members in attendance.

The traveling exhibit will be set up in the East Lounge from Monday, November 17 through Friday, November 21. Residents, family members, and community guests are invited to visit and explore this meaningful display — an opportunity to reflect, learn, and honor the history and resilience of those who lived through this time.

For the first time ever at Newburgh Healthcare, we welcomed live reindeer from Santa’s Reindeer Ranch in Dale, Indiana! Residents, staff, and families enjoyed petting the reindeer and taking selfies and portraits. This magical visit truly kicked off the Christmas spirit throughout our community! 🎄🦌✨

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans 🇺🇸

Newburgh Healthcare would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Newburgh American Legion Auxiliary for providing special Veterans Day gifts for our residents. This year, our veterans received festive patriotic pinwheels! 🎖️

In addition, our Activities Department honored each veteran with a custom t-shirt proudly displaying the branch of service they served in. We are forever grateful for their service and sacrifice. ❤️🤍💙

🇺🇸 Honoring Our Heroes 🇺🇸

Newburgh Healthcare would like to thank Chris Weyer, a proud Marine Corps veteran from Heart to Heart Hospice, for leading a touching Veterans Day pinning ceremony in honor of our resident veterans. Heart to Heart Hospice also provided refreshments and certificates of recognition for each veteran. Following the ceremony, music entertainer Pastor Rod filled the room with patriotic songs, creating a truly memorable celebration of service and sacrifice. ❤️🤍💙

🎨 Our residents had a great time painting under the blacklights during our latest craft activity!

This time, we tried something new — using strainers for a fun splatter effect inspired by Instagram and TikTok trends. Some residents also got creative with paintbrushes, adding their own unique touches. Craft time is always a blast, but painting in neon under the glow of blacklights is an experience all its own! 💡✨

We’d like to take a moment to recognize and thank La’Shanda Tyler, our amazing Transportation Coordinator! 🚐💙

La’Shanda goes above and beyond every single day—not only ensuring our residents get where they need to be safely and on time, but also stepping in to assist wherever help is needed. As a CNA, she provides compassionate support to our nursing team, and she’s always willing to lend a hand in any department. Her dedication, flexibility, and multitasking skills truly make her an invaluable part of our team.

Thank you, La’Shanda, for all that you do! We appreciate your hard work, your caring spirit, and your constant commitment to our residents and staff. 🌟👏

🕯 Holocaust Exhibit Presented by Kirk Rinella 🕊

The Evansville Wartime Museum will be bringing a special traveling Holocaust exhibit to Newburgh Healthcare. Kirk will be giving a presentation on the exhibit November 17th beginning at 2:30 p.m.
