Last night I ran my fastest threshold pace yet—7:25/mi for 7 miles.

After the run, I was reflecting on how far I’ve come and I thought about this random quote I heard on TikTok a little while ago that I wanted to share with you all. It goes like this:

“The real flex is how many lives you can positively impact. It’s not about cars, clothes, or clout.

Influence means nothing if you’re not helping someone grow.

The legacy you leave won’t be measured by what you had, but by who you helped.

Real power is when your presence inspires action. When your story sparks change. When your content shifts someone’s mindset and helps them unlock a new level.

If you want to be remembered, make people feel seen. Make people feel heard.

Share what you’ve learned and lift others as you climb. The impact you leave on others will outlive every material thing you chase. That’s the difference between popularity and purpose.

You weren’t just called to win, you were called to lead. And real leaders build more leaders. That’s the flex.”

This was a reminder I didn’t know I needed.

“ChatGPT, what song best describes me and my fitness journey?”
Cue: Nonstop by Drake. 🎧

And judging by the look on my face in the last photo… I was just getting warmed up. 🏃‍♂️😂

First Half Marathon in the books! 🏃‍♂️

I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF!
From running 11-minute miles in January to clocking a 7:30 pace today. I’m proving that the habits, discipline, and mindset I’ve been building work.

It doesn’t matter where you’ve been, what you’re doing, what you look like, or how you feel.
None of that matters. The only thing that does is what you’re willing to do to make it happen.

Sub-1:40 locked. Ironman prep underway.
And make no mistake, I got that dawg in me. 🐾

This is just the beginning.

If my journey pushes even one person to level up, it’s all worth it. 💪

Certified and hooked 🌊 🤿

This weekend I got scuba certified, and it was one of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had. From the nerves before the first descent to the surreal calm of being fully submerged, every second felt like stepping into another world.

I’m grateful for the challenge, the people I shared it with, and the reminder that life gets a lot bigger when you’re willing to dive a little deeper.

Always keep growing my friends. 😌

March 2024 — I was 230 lbs, burnt out, and stuck in a cycle of bad habits.

I felt heavy—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Then I decided to grow a pair.

I stopped waiting to feel ready and started running. First a mile, then three… now I’m already 85.3 miles into May with a goal of 100 with 16 days left!

Today, I’m 182.9 lbs. Stronger, sharper, and more alive than I’ve felt in years.

One of the most rewarding parts of this journey?
Hearing from my patients.

Over the past week, more people than I can count have pulled me aside saying,
“You inspired me to start.”
They’re down 15, 20, even 25+ pounds—and every one of them keeps inspiring me more! It feels so good knowing I’ve become a real life example they can come to in guidance to improving their lives. 🥹

On top of that, I’ve kept up with strength training 5 days a week, becoming more resilient with every session.

Now I’m putting everything I’ve learned into action:

• Sunburst Half Marathon — May 31
• Evansville Half — October
• California International Marathon — Dec 7

This isn’t just about a physical transformation.
It’s about leadership—and showing up for who I’m becoming, especially when no one’s watching.

Let’s run it. 🏃‍♂️

And THANK YOU SO MUCH to every patient, friend, and follower who’s supported me through this. You have no idea how much it means. You guys are seriously the best!

Running and strength training can coexist—and even thrive together.

At 32 years old, I’m in the best shape of my life.

Ran 8 miles this morning. Knocked out a full functional strength workout this evening.
And just Saturday morning, I had my first swim lesson with an amazing coach @

Every day has been a new opportunity to grow—not just physically, but mentally and skillfully.

The old myth that cardio kills gains?
Yeah… throw that out.

Since committing to hybrid training, I’ve gained strength, built endurance, and feel more athletic than ever.

I’m running farther and faster—without sacrificing size or power.

This isn’t random. It’s calculated.
It’s consistency, discipline, and showing up with purpose.

Hybrid athletes aren’t divided—we’re built different.

Commit to it. Embody it.

My running progress from January to now is honestly kind of shocking 😳

It’s really cool seeing the numbers laid out like this.

Started at 38 miles with 11-minute pace…
Now I’m logging 76+ a month and running in the 8s.

May’s already over 48 and it’s not even halfway done.

I’m so proud if this because its exactly what i expected 😌
