Six years ago I had the tremendous privilege of learning from and working with these two incredible human beings, along with a host of other fabulous mentors and students to receive my first 200 hours of yoga education. I was truly unaware of the trajectory this course, these beautiful people would send my life towards. I am so thankful, so grateful for this yoga community ✨💞✨

We have reached our Autumn Equinox ~ the time of equal light and darkness and the transition towards more darkness. This is a beautiful day of balance and an opportunity to start to welcome in the darkness. A time to turn in, slow down and follow Mother Nature’s lead: breathe in the cooler air, celebrate all the past seasons have brought into our lives and start to slow down ✨

Tonight ~ go outside and look up. Drink in the beauty of our Super Full Moon in Pisces! It’s our second full moon in August, so it’s called a blue moon and sitting in Pisces, it’s all about our intuition.

So…intuition plus a full moon…close your eyes. Quiet and settle your mind as you find your breath. And then…listen. What is your intuition whispering to you? What do you need to clear out, harnessing this moon’s energy? What is no longer serving you and it’s time to let go of?

We’ve got our beautiful Pink Full Moon in Libra shining down on us. Now, don’t look for the pinkness tonight, lol. It’s named that due to the start of pink blossoms being seen everywhere.

It’s our time of rebirth, renewal and growth. Staying grounded during this time is going to be essential, so as you take a moment to gaze up at our glorious, full moon tonight, feel your feet on the earth, grounding you and connecting you to all that is growing underneath and beginning to burst forward.

Connect to that energy and decide… Where do you want to grow in this beautiful life? Where can you renew? Where can you stay grounded while you grow?

Blessed Winter Solstice to all! Today we celebrate the longest night of the year, the darkness that resides within each of us and the slow, gradual return to the light. It is the perfect time to get quiet and still, acknowledging that we all have darkness within and that it is in that darkness that we can shine our light, grow and honor our true selves ✨
