I have known Dr. Arruffat since he joined our practice almost 20 years ago. He guided me through laparoscopic training and is responsible for me becoming a very skilled minimally invasive surgeon in the last years of my career. I knew we had something special when during a difficult case he remained calm, collected and most importantly, kind to everyone in the operating room. Like me, he has fun, loves his work…and that makes him very good at what he does! Perhaps the best thing that I can say; I trust him to provide my colorectal care and that of my family and friends. He is a caring, thoughtful physician. A great partner, friend, and brother to me! Congratulations on a remarkable first year at your new practice. Here’s to many more. CARPE DIEM my friend.

Exactly one year ago today a door was opened for an opportunity to do something that some said was unachievable. With dedicated hard work and perseverance, and strong motivation, we were able to overcome incredible odds and create a surgical practice to continue to provide a much needed service in our community. We are extremely proud to be the only true dedicated colorectal surgical practice in the entire tristate region. Our goal is to continue the tradition of our hard working, honest, and skilled past physicians, Dr. James Waller and Dr. Syam Chilukuri and carry the torch for a bright future.

We are grateful to all of the outstanding and hard working health care workers and friends who have remained steadfastly loyal in supporting us. Thank you to our beautiful patients for placing your trust in us. Our commitment is to you. We are thankful to the hospital administrators and staff for working closely with us. We are thankful to all of the medical and surgical subspecialties in our community for your collaboration, on any and all levels. To those who believe in us - thank you from the bottom of our hearts. To those who share a different view - we invite you to get to know us and work towards a greater goal.
