Books n Rooks Bookstore Books N Rooks Bookstore, teaching Self-Improvement and Mathematics through the science of Chess to all ages. My wife is a U.S. Army Veteran and former I.T.

I am a local career Firefighter, chess enthusiast and student of Mathematics. professional. We both share a passion for educating children. Some of you may remember our original location at the corner of Liberty and Washington in 2014. We recently relaunched Books-n-Rooks Bookstore on Aug. 5, 2017. Our focus has remained the same; the youth of Newburgh. We want to provide a unique service to the community while engaging the youth in something positive. We have secured a location in Newburgh and are seeking donations towards our new launch for the Chess Club. Anyone who knows me, knows that I am EXTREMELY passionate about the game of chess. Our goal is to create a place in the community where children and adults can learn and play the game of chess. We will also offer:

- Custom-made chess boards
- Chess lessons and tournaments
- Community Events (Free Yoga)
- Family Events (Baby showers, wedding showers)
- Math and Self-Improvement through chess

Come in and join us in our efforts to empower the youth of Newburgh!
