💻 Meet Danah Edwards, our Support System Analyst and powerhouse behind our data! Danah manages our Electronic Medical Records and creates our Daily Dash, giving treatment teams a real-time snapshot of admissions, patient lists, and caseloads. She is now, also, a wintertime gardener thanks to her new Aero Garden.

🔋 Her work ensures our teams have the information they need to provide smooth, coordinated care—proving that strong data management is essential to the health of our organization and the care we provide.

✨ Earlier this week, we welcomed Johanna Contreras the District Director & Deputy Chief of Staff for Pat Ryan to our Kaplan Family Hospice Residence.

The visit included a tour of our 11-bed facility, discussions about how the cost of care far exceeds what insurance covers, and got a chance to see firsthand the incredible, compassionate work that happens here every day. 💙

We look forward to growing our relationship of support, advocacy, and community.

In 2024, we were honored to serve 230 individuals and their loved ones at our cherished Kaplan Family Hospice Residence. Just last month, we celebrated the life and legacy of Susan, one of our beloved patients who spent many months surrounded by the care and compassion of our staff.

🌿 At your local Hospice provider, we truly do by providing quality, compassionate supports to individuals and families throughout Orange & Sullivan County.

⭐️ Those supports come from the care provided by our staff. That's why we try to pay it forward and recognize the extremely hard work they do.

🥗 We're not a family, we're a support system. We look out for one another, help each other to explore and advance, and lift each other up. And occasionally, facilitate an indoor garden (say hi to Harmony Peach).

🌿 On a Sunday of all days, meet our , Sister Ann Daly from our Spiritual Care Department.

🙏 For years, Sister Ann has been more than a chaplain, more than a coworker — she has been a steady, guiding light in moments when hearts feel heavy and the path ahead feels uncertain.

💚 Sister Ann has sat beside patients in their final moments, offering comfort and peace. She has held the hands of grieving families, giving them strength when they felt they had none left. And she has been there for her coworkers, offering encouragement, prayer, and kindness that lifts the spirit in ways words can’t always capture.

💜 Sister Ann, you have touched the souls of so many, and for that we are so very grateful.
