Happy EMS Week! It's "Training Thursday" here at TONEMS. Our agency has our own Education Department, run by Asst. Chief Chatfield and 2nd Asst. Chief Lenahan. These individuals ensure all of our staff have the required education they need to continue improving and serving their community. We also offer classes outside of our agency!

Happy EMS Week! Have you met our operations officers? Here at TONEMS, we have multiple officers who help run our agency. Each one has their own area of expertise ensuring all our departments continue to run smoothly. From day-to-day logistics, personnel management, quality assurance and improvement, medical supplies and fleet maintenance, all of our bases are covered!

We are proud to have these individuals responsible for operations within our agency and we thank them for their dedication not only this week, but every week! 🚑

Our staff had a great time attending the yearly Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Newburgh Campus EMS Week BBQ. This is always an event we look forward to every year and it’s something the hospital does a great job putting together for local EMS providers.

Even better, 3 of our staff members walked away raffle winners this year!

Thank you to Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall for having us and for continuing to support EMS during EMS Week.

Whether it’s backing us up on calls, covering neighboring districts together, assisting at large incidents, or simply being a friendly face at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, we truly appreciate each and every one of you.

EMS Week Kick Off 🚑 Thanks to our Board of Directors and Executive Director Napolitano, we’ve started this week out with a bang! Instead of giving individual gifts, they decided to make a few upgrades to the station to help our members feel more comfortable during downtime.

Additionally, we will be holding a raffle each day of the week for different prizes! Stay tuned for our EMS week winners! 🏆

Over the past few months, our agency has simultaneously hosted 2 EMT-Basic Courses. Today we are proud to report a 100 % pass rate on practicals! All of our students will now move on to the next step in receiving their certifications.
